Retro 70s show part of this year's Red Skelton Festival

For the third week in a row, a hometown festival highlights the coming weekend in Vincennes.

We’ve had the Rendezvous and Spring on Main and this weekend it's the 18th annual Red Skelton Festival paying tribute to the famous comedian.

There's a parade, stage entertainment, and Red Skelton Museum Executive Director Anne Pratt says make plans to attend something new this year, a retro 70's Vegas Style show…

That will be Saturday night at 6 at Adam's Coliseum. Tickets at $60 or $600 for a sponsored table.

Get tickets and check the festival scheduled on the Red Skelton Museum website.

On Friday, June 9th, Red's widow Lothian Skelton will be in town to present a $25,000 check to help fund a stage mural project at the Pantheon Theater where Red and others performed in downtown Vincennes. The large-scale art work will be on the back wall of the Pantheon stage. The mural was also funded in part by donors who made gifts in honor of loved ones.
