Operation Santa Claus provides gifts to kids receiving NH state services

Operation Santa Claus is in full effect in Concord.

This is the 62nd year of the project, which has given away more than half a million gifts to kids receiving state services.

This year, they'll be delivering presents to about 3,200 kids all around New Hampshire.

But they are still looking for more sponsors and donations.

"It's sad that we have to do this," said Richard Gulla, president of the State Employees Association. "But, it's great and uplifting that we can do this for our fellow citizens in the state and provide a happy Christmas for children.

Operation Santa Claus will accept donations through Dec. 7, so they can deliver those gifts on Dec. 13.
