McDonald’s Crocs Happy Meal with mini keychains coming to Texas

You might have a pair of Crocs, but do you have a pair of McDonald's Crocs?

The footwear company collaborated with the fast food giant to create a Happy Meal with a McDonald's-themed sandal.

A Crocs Happy Meal, originally introduced overseas, is set to arrive at McDonald's locations across the U.S.

This special Happy Meal comes with a meal and one of 17 limited-edition Crocs Clog keychains, modeled after the iconic shoes. Each keychain includes a mini shoe box and a unique sticker pad for personalizing your tiny Crocs.

The Crocs Happy Meal boxes will be available Sept. 17 in all McDonald’s U.S. locations and over 40 markets globally for a limited time.

As part of the collaboration, the shoe brand will also release its own line of items, including classic clogs styled in McDonald's signature red and gold, featuring exclusive Jibbitz charms like the Happy Meal, Chicken McNuggets, fries, and Big Mac. Fans can also pick up McDonald's-themed socks to complete the look.

The Happy Meal x Crocs collection, featuring footwear, socks, and Jibbitz, will launch on September 17 on crocs.com, at Crocs retail stores, and through select wholesale partners across North America. Prices for the collection will range from $15.99 to $69.99.

Last fall, the two companies introduced a McDonald’s x Crocs shoe collection featuring Jibbitz charms. The collection included four pairs of Crocs sandals and clogs, each themed around iconic McDonald's characters such as Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar.

The Crocs website shows you can still get this McDoanald's-styled Birdie classic clog on sale for $52.50.

McDonald's $5 Meal Deal hit the fast food chain's menu this summer as a limited-time offer, but now it's staying on the menu into the fall.

Back in June, McDonald's debuted the $5 Meal Deal: You get a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, a four-piece order of Chicken McNuggets, small fries and a small soft drink. The bargain combo "is sticking around, with a majority of local markets extending into December," the company said in a news release Thursday.
