Happy ending for Pursuit the dog after near

Bounding about the fenced-in backyard chasing a red ball and splashing in a baby pool, Pursuit, a 65-pound American Bulldog mix, has no idea just how close to death he really came.

Branded "unpredictable" and marked for death at the Harrisburg Humane Society, Pursuit was hours, perhaps minutes, away from being euthanized the morning of Feb. 13.
