Chime In! Handbell Choir Slates Bells and Berries Concert

BETHLEHEM — The handbell choirs of Chime In! Music with a Mission will present "Bells and Berries" at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 11 with free admission with donations accepted at the First Church of Bethlehem, 21 Main St. South.

Chime In handbell concerts feature a variety of musical genres and a post-concert opportunity to interact with ringers and the instruments.

Premiering this year is the group's first commissioned piece, "Grazioso Giocoso," by Cathy Moklebust, in memory of Sharon Brody, a Chime In member and handbell ringer of 50 years.

The Missions Committee of First Church will serve freshly baked shortcake topped with organic strawberries and real whipped cream immediately after the concert at a fee.

To-go orders will be available starting at 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit the church's mission programs.
